In talking to our customers, we realized there was a need for a very compact treadmill. For example, for those people who rent apartments or own condos, having a full size treadmill is not practical. They want the convenience of exercising at home, but need a small and mobile unit. It is for our space challenged customer we offer the Smooth EVO SX4 treadmill.

When we designed the Smooth EVO SX4 treadmill, we wanted it to occupy minimum space when folded and it had to be extremely easy to move about. However, being a Smooth Fitness product, we didn't want to compromise on quality in the quest to be compact. There are a number of compact models available through other manufacturers, but none measure up to our standard of excellence.

User Profile

As mentioned, the Smooth EVO SX4 treadmill is for people who have limited space and/or need a treadmill that is very easy to move about. Because of the compact design, this treadmill is best suited for average height individuals or smaller. It is also primarily a walking treadmill.

If you plan to jog and have the space, you should consider our Smooth 5.45 or Smooth 6.45 treadmills.

The EVO SX4 treadmill is built with 2" rollers, they same size rollers you would find in much more expensive treadmills. The benefits of these larger rollers is it extends the life of the machine.

Programming and Electronics

To enhance your workouts and motivate you to achieve your fitness goals, the Smooth EVO SX4 offers seven preset exercise programs and five levels of intensity. In addition, there is a hand grip pulse monitor, allowing you to gauge your heart rate, and determine if you are in a proper heart rate zone.

We've been talking about the quality of the Smooth EVO SX4, but the warranty says it all. It includes a lifetime warranty on the frame and 10-year warranty on the motor. What's more, you get a 3-year warranty on all parts and one year of in-home service at no additional charge.
